Douglas Holt

Douglas Thomas Holt, age 46, passed away on January 6, 2015 at his home in Toledo.  Doug was born August 5, 1968 in Celina, OH to Jack and Cynthia Holt.  He attended Whitmer High School and graduated from Sylvania Southview.  Doug built a successful career as a finish carpenter working with Norman Homes and more recently, Wilson Builders where he was known as their best finish carpenter.  He will be remembered for his kind hearted soul. Doug is survived by his children, Shelby and Cameron Holt; parents, Jack and Cynthia Holt; sisters, Lee Judd and Beth Holt (Stephanie Mills); brothers, Mark (Lisa) Holt and Keith (Cheryl) Holt; his former wife and mother of his children, Carrie Falter-Holt; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 10am until the time of service at 1pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.).  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
