Douglas Farrand

Douglas Oram Farrand age, 83, of Maumee, OH passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Doug was born in Bloomfield, NJ on January 31, 1938, to Samuel O. and Margaret (Lawson) Farrand. Doug earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, in 1960. He went on to design and build railroad tracks for over 40 years at Timony Railway. He was married the love of his life, Patricia Farrand, for 16 years until her passing. Doug enjoyed NY Yankees baseball, photography, and eating several times a week at Nick’s Cafe. Surviving is his daughter, Kelli Farrand and son, Scott Farrand. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia, and his parents. Services for Doug will be private.
