Douglas James Crowley, 47, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed unexpectedly on Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 15, 1975 to Frank and Pam (Gawrych) Crowley. Doug graduated from Northview High School and continued his education at Bowling Green State University, joining the Sigma Chi fraternity and earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was employed by Grammer, previously Toledo Molding & Die, for over twenty years.
Doug met Andrea in 1999 in Bowling Green and they married in 2003. They had two children, Aaron and Madi (lovingly referred to as Maddog by her dad), who became his purpose in life. If you knew Doug, you were sure to know his family was the center of his life. He loved spending time with his family, whether with schoolwork, sporting events or family gatherings.
Doug is survived by his wife, Andrea Crowley; his children, Aaron and Madison Crowley; his mother, Pam Crowley; his siblings Justin (Maggie) Crowley and Sara (Jesse) Rhodes; parents-in-law Pat and Carolyn Hecklinger; siblings-in-law Tracy (Larry) Bolander, Jill (Bob) Basom, and Abby (Mike) Gerber; nieces and nephews Max, Hugh & Hazel Crowley, JJ & John Rhodes, Lexi and Derek Bolander, Hannah, Brooke, Jake, and Zack Basom, and Greta Gerber. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Frank Crowley.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home (222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio) with a prayer of the Rosary at 7:30 pm. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Saint John the XXIII (24250 North Dixie Highway, Perrysburg, Ohio) immediately followed by mass.
