Dorsey Robert R. Carr, Jr.

Dorsey R. Carr, Jr., 89, went home to be with his beloved Sidney in heaven on February 9, 2022. He was born on December 25, 1932.

Dorsey enjoyed Notre Dame football and relaxing on his front porch and yard. He took great pride in his family and had many close friends. Dorsey rarely asked for help but was always willing to help others if they needed anything. He missed his wife Sidney a great deal and was always anxious to see her again.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Deborah Charles, Dorsey “Rob” (Twila) Carr and Jody (Jeff) Carr-Stephens; grandchildren, Dustin Smith (Mabel Wamsley) Neil (Kara) Carr and Tyler Carr; step-grandson, Cory (Anna) Stephens; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Gideon and Matilda. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sidney and son-in-law, Lyn Charles.
