Dorothy M. Windnagel

Dorothy Mae Windnagel, 88, of Oak Harbor, Ohio died Saturday morning, November 12, 2016 while a resident of Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. Dorothy was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on September 1, 1928 to Lloyd and Ethelyn (Collins) Rahm. She married Dale Windnagel in Greenup, KY on August 31, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1968. Dorothy had worked as a nutrition aid for Riverview Nursing Homes, and the Riverview Green Thumb Program through WSOS. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a longtime member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor. Dorothy is survived by her children, Christine Mitchell and William Windnagel, six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Virginia Fick and brothers Charles Chuckie Rahm and James Jess. A Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, Ohio. Interment will be in the Elliston Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 6-8 PM, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in the funeral home.
