Dorothy Loretta Wilson

Dorothy Wilson, age 94 of Toledo passed away Sunday, November27, 2022 in Spring Meadows Extended Care Facility, Holland. She was born January 2, 1928 in Toledo to Amos and Edith (Williams) Garber. She worked many years for the former Donovan Wire and Iron Company. She then became the first paid employee of the Toledo Hospital gift shop. Dorothy was a long-time member of Cass Road Baptist Church, Maumee.

The widow of Clarence Wilson she was also preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. Surviving is her daughter JoAnn (Russell) Craig; granddaughters, Tracy (Alex) McKinstry and Cristen (Jason) Music; great-grandchildren, Alex (Mackenzie) McKinstry V, and Zachary (Jesse Smith) McKinstry, Haley (Adam) Whaley, Ethan and Evan Music; great-great-grandchildren Parker McKinstry; sister, Susie Frantz; brother Robert (Cookie) Garber; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee on Wednesday from 3-8 pm. where funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 am. Interment Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
