Dorothy M. Summersett

Dorothy M. Summersett, 85, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at her residence. Dorothy was born on March 26, 1925 in Marblehead, OH to John and Anna Hudak Pepa. On May 11, 1946 she married Lindil Bing Summersett in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH and he preceded her in death on March 09, 1994. She worked as a sales clerk for Wal-Mart. Dorothy was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her great- grandchildren referred to her as Great-Gram by the lake. Dorothy loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with Christmas gifts. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Dave & Becky Hofstetter Summersett of Haskins, OH and Dan Summersett of Port Clinton, OH; Grandchildren: Jonica Adam Limes of Weston, OH and Jorey Summersett of Haskins, OH; Great-Grandchildren: Brynne, Cade & Addysen Limes; Brother: Dan Pepa and Sister: Alice Kozak. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson: Joel Summersett and brother: John Pepa Jr. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM, Thursday, September 30, 2010 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father John Missler at 10AM, Friday, October 01, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with family prayers beginning at 9:30AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH.
