Dorothy Ann Ryan

Dorothy Ann Ryan, age 91, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Spring Meadows Nursing Center. She was born July 23, 1933, in Toledo to Walter and Bernice (Smoker) Lewis. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Lewis of Connecticut, and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lynn Ryan.

Dorothy was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School. Following high school, she was employed as a secretary at Columbia Gas where she met her husband, Lynn Ryan. When her husband started his own business, Lynn Ryan Builders, in 1981 she worked alongside him as bookkeeper and interior decorator for 20 years.
