Dorothy J. Marek

Dorothy J. Dottie Marek, 70, of Ottawa Hills, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her family. An angel to many and a friend to all, Dottie is lovingly survived by her husband of 46 years, Tom; twin brother, David Wilson; step mother-in-law, Judy Marek; sister-in-law, Rhoda Wilson; brother-in-law, David Marek Tami; best friend, Beth Blankerts; her special sons god-daughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private graveside services were conducted at Toledo Memorial Park. Services to celebrate Dotties life will be held at dates to be determined at both Epworth United Methodist Church in Toledo and Lawron Presbyterian Church in Bovey, Minnesota. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the clergy of Epworth United Methodist Church, Dotties numerous supportive caregivers and the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
