Mack Dorothy Dottie GG We will truly miss the best mom, grandma and GG this world has ever seen. Dorothy May Mack, 82, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was one of a kind. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren, who she taught to call her GG short for great-grandma. She took great pride in her family and the running joke was if you want to know what everyone in the family is up to, call GG. GG always showed great concern for others, placing their needs ahead of her own unless you called during Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy. Family was her priority but the things in this world she will miss are: butterflies, roses, honey buns and especially shopping. GG loved to get a great deal and shopped for Christmas and birthdays year round. She was born December 29, 1926 in Toledo to John and Myrtle Schultz Suhrweier. GG was a 1944 graduate of Woodward High School and previously worked for Vromans Ice Cream and Great Lakes Corrugated. She is survived by her daughters: Judy Tom Davenport and Sharon Bob Williams; son, Phil Diane Semler; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Louis Mack; a son, Bob Semler; sisters: Violet ODell, Marion LaPlant , Janet Bortles and Donna Zeisloft ; brothers: John and Dale Suhrweier. Friends and family may visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Thursday from 2-8:00 pm where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am. Interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of Ohio, 226 State Route 61, Norwalk, OH 444857-9705.
