Dorothy J. Hansen

Dorothy J. Hansen, age 91, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee, Ohio. She was born in Toledo on March 5, 1926 to Bert and M. Marie (Lyttle) Franks. Dorothy worked for Food Town and Petris Dress Shop. She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church, a former member of the Eastern Star and DeMolay Mothers Club. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, cake decorating and being a Sunday School teacher. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Ralph) Debbe, sons, James (Jennifer), and Richard (Melinda), grandchildren, David (Patti) Opperman and Rebecca (Jim Etzle) Opperman, Dawn (Rick Folsom) Debbe, Nicole (Paul) Nungester, Jodi (Brian) Kimball, Jill (Rich) Synowiec, Jessica (Chika) Keazor, Sarah Hansen and Jacob Hansen, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and sister, Mildred Trumbull. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, parents, and siblings, Ray Franks, Russell Franks, Ralph Franks, Noreen Tabbert and Geraldine Cooper. Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
