Dorothy Garris

Dorothy Garris, age 93, passed away April 7, 2021 at Kingston Sylvania. Dorothy was born August 21, 1927 in Toledo to Frances Bojarski. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and loved her family endlessly. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed traveling with her husband of 50 years, Lester. Dorothy is survived by her children, Gary (Kathy), Don (Debi), Tim (Theresa) and Nancy Johns; 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Garris in 1994; mother “Bousha” in 1995; brother, William; and sister, Ann. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 pm on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
