Dorothy M. Crawford

Crawford Dorothy M. Dorothy M. Crawford, 81, of Toledo, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Detroit Ave., surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 12, 1928 in Hot Coal, WV., to Elmer and Macie Basham Blevins. On August 11, 1946, she married Arlen Crawford in West Virginia. Dorothy was a long-time member of Liberty Baptist Church in Toledo and she loved spending time with her family. Dorothy is survived by her husband; sons: Tom Ann, Gary Ramona; daughters: Deb Bob Wischer, Judy Bob Smith, Tracy Jeff OBryan; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Daphne Jerry VanDiver and a brother, Bob Betty Blevins. She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, Daniel and a brother, Arnold. The family would like to thank Hospice for all of the excellent loving care that they provided for Dorothy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-9:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am. Interment at Whiteford Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551-3429.
