Dorothy M. Connolly

Dorothy May Connolly, age 88, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. Dorothy was born September 29, 1922 in Toledo, to Walter and Agnes Connolly. She graduated from Central Catholic High School before beginning a 44 year career at Libbey Glass as a cost estimator. Dorothy was very social, and enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends. She loved to travel visiting Hawaii, Japan, Paris, Italy, and many other European countries. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Walter Connolly; nephews, Tim Lois Adams, Mark Debbie Connolly, and Kevin Robin Connolly; nieces, Beth Drew Hoffer, Debbie Rick Bickel, Diane Chris Martindale, Maureen Rick Melin, and Kathleen Connolly; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Catherine Adams. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5373 Main St., Sylvania, OH.
