Dorothy Ida Cawthorn

Dorothy Ida Cawthorn, age 88, passed away Saturday March 29, 2014 at Kingston in Perrysburg, OH. The daughter of Harry and Maude Donnelly, she was born Sept. 21, 1925 in Toledo. She was a 1943 graduate of Scott High School. She married I. Paul Cawthorn on January 15, 1949 in Angola Indiana. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, knitting , crocheting, reading and genealogy. She was an extensive traveler, visiting Europe, Ireland, New England and western United States. She will be most remembered as a caring and loving mother who felt family was the most important part of life. She is survived by her son, Robin Terri Cawthorn; Susan Jim Davis and Sally Taylor; granddaughter, Jennifer Robert Mapes, Ryan Davis, Stacey Ben Vone, Beth Taylor; great granddaughter, Hannah Cawthorn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul; son Patrick; granddaughter Shannon Cawthorn; and 7 brothers and sisters. Friends may visit on Thursday from 3-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd where services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM.
