Dorothy Adams

Dorothy M. Adams, 93, of Port Clinton and formerly of Tiffin died Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Home, Port Clinton. She was born on November 30, 1922 in Sandusky to Carl and Lucille (Prediger) Gurtz. On November 8, 1952 , in Venice, OH, she married Melvin Adams, and he preceded her in death 1980. Dorothy worked as a secretary and cost accountant for Webster Manufacturing, Tiffin, OH. She enjoyed playing the piano and going shopping. Dorothy is survived by her brother: Hank Gurtz of Catawba Island, two nieces, a nephew and five great nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Private Family Services will be conducted at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton. Interment will follow in Castalia Cemetery, Castalia, OH.
