Dorman H. Peck

Peck Dorman H. Peck Dorman H. Peck, age 83, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Toledo Hospital. Peck was born in Toledo to Harry and Carrie Fry Peck on April 4, 1925. He attended Woodward High School before joining the US Army and serving during WWII. Peck was a truck driver for A. Bentley & Sons before retiring in 1983. He was a member of VFW Post 5530, Alcoholics Anonymous, and bowled with the Imperial Lanes Senior League and Southwyck Senior League. Peck is survived by his daughters, Kathy Rick Garcia, Denise Dave Plentz, and Karen Gallaher; son, Tom Tama Peck; 8 grandchildren and 13 grandpa great great-grandchildren with one more due in November; sister, Marilyn Kizer; dear friend, Izzy and his beloved dog, Tobey. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-8:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am. Contributions in Pecks memory may be made to the Toledo Humane Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
