Dorla I. Purdie

Dorla I. Purdie, age 77, of Clyde Twp., Michigan, formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio died September 22, 2009. She was born September 11, 1932 in Port Clinton to the late Robert and Flota Grimm. On January 21, 1965 Dorla married Gerald C. Purdie in Panama City, Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Gerald C. Purdie; Children: James Meisner of Georgia, Susette Tony Conard of Alabama, Tanja Jo Meisner of Clyde Twp., Michigan and Debora Hutchins of Clyde Twp., Michigan; Step children: Belinda Bobby Hidle of Florida, Donald Kathy Purdie of Florida, Jarold Purdie of Port Huron and Jolynn Willy of Florida; Five grandchildren: Patrick, Christopher, Corinne, Kevin, and Kristy; Four great grandchildren; Gage, Kassidy, Haiden, Arrianne; several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Purdie was preceded in death by a son George and daughter Dorla Meisner Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, Saturday, September 26, 2009 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00PM, following visitation in the funeral home. Interment will be in Christy Chapel Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
