Dorisann Herrick

Dorisann Herrick, 75, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was born on August 12, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio to Anthony Gerold Wilson and Rhoda A. (Wright) Mersing and she married Robert M. Herrick on March 17, 1995 also in Toledo. Dorisann was a 1959 graduate of Springfield High School. She was employed and enjoyed several years with the Anne Grady Corporation before her marriage to Bob. While her children were in school she would often volunteer for school events and also coached softball. Dorisann enjoyed sewing, reading and puzzles as well as yardwork. She loved the change of seasons and enjoyed the holiday decorating. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorisann is survived by her loving husband, Robert M. Herrick; children, Tammy (Tim) Sullivan, Connie (Al) Haley, Stacy Camacho, Lisa Marie (David) McDaniels and Robert P. (Teri) Herrick; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and siblings, Jim W. (Judy) Mersing, John G. Mersing and Michael A. Mersing, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Larry H. Mersing and first husband, James M. Wallace. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879). Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
