Doris V. Stewart

Doris V. Stewart, age 96, of Toledo passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Henderson House. She was born June 25, 1914 in Adesville, Ohio to Sherman and Cora Glassford Grindle. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Doris enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved to cook and bake. The widow of James Stewart, Doris is survived by her daughter, Donna William Weisbrod; son, James W. Stewart and son-in-law, Alvie Harris. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.. In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Harris and one brother and three sisters. Visitation and funeral services will be private. The family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of the donors choice.
