Doris M. Plush-Tadt

Doris M. Plush-Tadt, age 95, formerly of Sylvania, died Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Bradley Bay Health Care in Bay Village where she was a resident.  She was born March 5, 1919 in Linden, Ohio to the late Frank and Pearl (Hummell) Wilson.  She was also preceded in death by husbands, Wayne Plush and Lester Webster; and three brothers. Doris was a homemaker and was employed as the head cook at Sylvania City Schools for 10 years.  She was a member of Rocky River United Methodist Church and through the years had been very active with the Order of Eastern Star.  She enjoyed camping in her free time and will be remembered as a loving mother and wife. Surviving is her husband, Robert Tadt; children, Wayne Plush (Kathleen), Carol McLeod (Donald), James Plush (Dixie) and Vicky Huston; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 9 a.m. until the time of Eastern Star and funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.).  Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
