Doris M. Brough

Doris M. Brough, 93, of Oak Harbor died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on August 7, 1919 in Oak Harbor to Fred and Mabel Leiser Henry. On February 22, 1941 in Oak Harbor she married Jesse Jep Brough, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1991. Doris and her husband owned and operated Broughs Meat Market in Woodville for 30 years. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor for over 50 years, where she was a member of the Esther Circle and attended noon Bible study. Doris is survived by her niece: Ruth Ray Warfel of Toledo, OH great niece, Lynn Bob Dressel of Toledo, great nephew, Jeffry Barker of Toledo, great great niece: Desiree John Pryor of Tiffin, OH, great great great nieces, Jade A. Worden, Briana Pryor, and great great great nephew, Tyler Pryor, all of Tiffin, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant children: James Brough and Barbara Brough, sister: Lila Krueger, and brother-in-law, Welton Bill Krueger. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. Visitation will be from 3-7 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH 43449. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions in memory of Doris may be given to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 122 W. Ottawa St., Oak Harbor.
