Doris R. Ahrens

Doris Ruth Ahrens age 85 of Toledo passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 17, 1927 to Cyrus and Alice Kingston. She had a long nursing career specializing in eldercare. She was the past director of nursing at Heartland Holly Glen and Ridgewood Manor. The widow of Donald W. Ahrens, she is survived by sons William Judy, Donald Karen, Timothy Libby, Philip Josie, and Andrew Dawn Ahrens; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister Beverly Shear. There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held Thursday at 11 AM in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church 5845 Elmer Dr. Toledo, Ohio 43615.
