Zeisloft Donna J. Grandma Don Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Donna J. Zeisloft, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008 surrounded by her loving and crazy family. Donna enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spent many loving hours with them. In her younger days she was an avid bowler and crafter. In her later years, she enjoyed baking and making pillows and blankets for all of her little ones. After graduating in 1950 from Woodward High School, Donna was employed at the Libbey Glass Factory. While employed there she was elected Secretary of the Glassworkers Union the youngest female to hold a union office at that time. Donnas marriage to Charles Ball produced three children, Richard, Debra and Barbara. She married Donald Zeisloft on Valentines Day, 1965, and they had two children, David and Becky. During their 39 years of marriage they experienced the usual joys and sorrows of raising five children but were known for the pride they had in each of them. This was a trait in later years that was extended to both her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna is survived by her children, Richard Linda Zeisloft, Debra Duane Walter, Barbara David Benadum, David Zeisloft, and Becky David Weiss; grandchildren, Christine Todd Tucker, Shannon Loomis Craig Howard, Paula Christopher Forrey, James Heather Loomis II, Heather Loomis, Brent Jessica Loomis, David Weiss Jr., Sadie Zeisloft, and EmilyWeiss; great-grandchildren, Elliott Bugs Loomis-Howard, C.J. Scooter Forrey, Alex Loomis, Isabella Loomis, Big Nick Tucker, Aundrea Pretty Girl Forrey, Abigail Abby Doodle Tucker and James Goombah Loomis III; sister, Dorothy Mack and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Zeisloft; parents, John and Myrtle Suhrweier; sisters, Violet ODell, Marion LaPlant, and Janet Bortles; and brothers, John and Dale Suhrweier. Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 10, from 12 3 pm and 6 9 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm followed by interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the ICU staff at St. Annes Hospital for all their compassion and support over the last few days.
