Donna L. Walker

Donna L. Walker, age 68, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Franciscan Center of Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on July 8, 1954, in Toledo, the daughter of Donald and Dolores Heywood. Donna worked as a phlebotomist for many years at Toledo Clinic, before retiring due to her health issues. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed reading, candle making, and was very proud of her outdoor plants, which she nurtured with great care.

Left to cherish Donna’s memory include, her daughter, Julie Laraby (Jeff), son, Michael Walker; grandchildren, Mike, Sean, Karissa, Michael, Savana, and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Monica (John) Rhoades and Mary Ellen; brother, Fred (Kathy) Heywood; many nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Donald, and Dolores; her former husband, Denzel Walker; her sister, Malinda Lacourse; grandson, Dakota; and one nephew, Luke Asher.

In accordance with Donna’s wishes, services will be held privately, with internment in Calvary Cemetery.
