Donna Jean Smith

Donna Jean Smith, 42, of Williston, died Friday, February 1, 2008, in the Luther Home of Mercy, Williston. She was born April 23, 1965, in Santa Ana, CA, to Charles H. and Jacquelyn L. Pitzen Smith. Donna Jean had recently begun working at Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor. She was a former member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Toledo and enjoyed music, singing, and attending services at the Luther Home of Mercy. She is survived by her parents of Toledo, brother, Charles F. Diane Smith of Toledo, nephews, Jeremy, Jonathan, Justin, Jacob and Dominic and niece, Eron, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her grandparents, Fred and Bernadine Pitzen and Julia Beach, preceded her in death. Visitation will be 8:30-10:00 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2008, in the Luther Home of Mercy Chapel in Williston, with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Cemetery, Toledo. The family has suggested memorials to the Luther Home Mercy. The family wishes to especially thank the staff at the Luther Home of Mercy for the special care given to Donna Jean.
