Donna L. Preston

Donna L. Preston age 78 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 8, 2009 at The University of Toledo Medical Center. Donna was born on February 9, 1931 in Fremont, Ohio to Milton & Gladys Krummel Davis. She was employed as a manager and cook for various restaurants. Donna enjoyed cooking especially for her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Donna David Brown and Yoni Preston; sons, Corky Preston and Todd Kathy Preston, former husband, S. Wayne Preston; grandchildren, KristiBryan Borcherdt, Robin Craig Martin Woods and Kyle Olszewski; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Carter and her cat Precious. There will be no visitation and services will be private. Family request any contributions be made to St. Judes Hospital or Toledo Humane Society. When I am gone, release me, let me go I have so many things to see and do You musnt tie yourself to me with tears Be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love you can only guess how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown But now its time I traveled on alone So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must Then let your grief be comforted by trust. Its only for awhile that we must part so bless the memories within your heart I wont be far away, for life goes on So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you cant see or touch me , Ill be near And if you listen with your heart, youll hear All of my LOVE around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone Ill greet you with a smile an say Welcome Home
