Donna Mae Navarre

Donna Mae Navarre, age 87, of Lambertville, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Port Clinton on May 6, 1928 to Donald and Augusta Gable (Barnes). Donna loved being a stay at home mom. She sold Avon for forty years and was a lifetime Ladies Auxiliary member of VFW Post 2898. She loved going camping and taking short trips with her family. Donna is survived by her sons, Gary (Judi) and Frank, Jr. Joe (Evelyn) Navarre; daughter, Cynthia (Mark) Gribble; grandchildren, Lori (Dominique) Richard, Tammy (Brad) Bodegain, Keri (Brian) Powers, and Brandon, Christopher, and Jason Gribble; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Gable and Anthony Skip Barnes; and sister, Kathy Loran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Buck Navarre; daughters, Linda and Deborah Navarre; one brother; four sisters, and parents. Visitation will be on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 2-8:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where services will begin Saturday at 10:00 am.
