Donna Jeanne Bremer

Donna Jeanne Bremer, age 86, passed away Tuesday October 28, 2014 at Kingston Residence of Sylvania. The daughter of Leroy and Frances Chambers, she was born December 6, 1927. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy and a member of Christ The King Church. She married Edward Bremer on August 2, 1947 in Toledo, OH. Jeanne worked as a Sales Associate with Medical Mutual Ins. Co for 27 years. She was a past president of the Toledo Mothers of Twins and one time recipient of the Mother of the Year. She was also a member of the Notre Dame Alumni Hall of Fame. She loved to travel with her children. She is survived by her sons, James (Patricia), John (Nancy) Bremer; grandchildren, Colleen, Matthew, Andrea, Sarah; and niece, Jeanne Reitz. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 4-8 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) with a scripture service at 7:00 PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
