Donita Gale Davis

Donita Donnie Davis, age 69, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Donnie was born December 7, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Ernest and Sally Never. Donnie was a graduate of Flower Hospital Nursing Skill. She was an LPN at Flower Hospital, MCO (UTMCO) Hospital, and for Dr. Keebler with Talmadge OB-GYN. Donnie also worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Sydlowski. Donnie loved to travel and she visited many exciting destinations including Disney World, Greece, Turkey, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and Hawaii. She enjoyed shopping, craft shows, trips to Shipshewana, camping, and fishing. Donnie adored her dog, Chloe, and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Donnie is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Jeff (Sara), and Jennifer (Bob); grandchildren, Breanna, Cameron, Austin, Aubrey, Madison, Kaitlyn, Vince, and Jaxson; and special aunt, JoAnne. The family would like to extend appreciation to the UTMC 3rd Floor Cardiac Department for the years of wonderful care they gave Donnie. Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 2-8:00pm at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where services will be Monday at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the UTMC Cardiac Department (address).
