Donelda Lucille Demond

Donelda Lucille (Limbaugh) DeMond, 67, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg with her loving family by her side. She was born in Defiance, Ohio to Donald and Irene (Schemenauer) Limbaugh on December 6, 1950. Donelda married the love of her life, Philip N. DeMond, on September 20, 1969. Together they attended Good Sheppard Church in Toledo. Donelda was a loving wife, sister, mother, and friend who will always be greatly missed. She was truly beautiful on the inside and outside and gave her entire heart and soul to her family. Her daughter, Tammy, is who she is today because of Donelda and she thanks God every day that He picked Donelda to be her mother. Left to cherish Donelda’s memories are her husband, Philip; daughter, Tammy (York) Kramer of Perrysburg; siblings, Gerald (Helen) Price of Springfield, IL, Shirley Pugh of Columbus, OH, Nancy (Dan) Sweigard of Camus, WA; best friends, Kathy Grogan and Catherine Pratt; and her beloved companion, Charlie Brown, the Golden Retriever. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133). Prayers will be recited at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. with a Funeral Mass taking place at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to their dear friend and part of the family, Jennifer Sliter, and the countless others who have helped them through this difficult time.
