Donald Norman Veit

Donald Norman Veit, 62, of Toledo went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Toledo Hospital. He was born in Toledo to Donald and Norma (Wood) Veit, on June 3, 1959. Donald over came many illnesses and hardships in his life. He was an incredible brother and friend to all who knew him. Born with cerebral palsy, Donnie was confined to a wheelchair all of his life, but that did not stop him from living life to the fullest. Music, television, and people, (famous or not) were the very core of his existence. Thanks to his mother, he met five presidents, attended many concerts, traveled extensively, and was friends with most radio personalities in Toledo. His go to radio station was always 93.5 and he did not ever miss an “Ellen” show! Donnie was a “Mr. Media” super star! Donnie graduated from Start High School, and in his early years, was active at the Ability Center Toledo. He resided at Heritage of Waterville until his death. Donald is survived by sisters Bonnie Nolan (Tom), Beverly Moody Morse, step brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews, and dear friend Joanne Malinowski. Abundant thanks and gratefulness to Dr. Donald Vogel, Calmesha, Princess, and all the staff of Heritage of Waterville. Services for Donald will be at Toledo Memorial Park Chapel of the Bells December 4, at 10:00.
