Donald Lee Skaggs

Donald L. Skaggs, 61, of Gibsonburg, Ohio, passed away, Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Toledo Hospital. He was the son of Ora D. and Phyllis J. (Hutton) Skaggs, born in Oregon Ohio on December 5, 1959. Don married Dawn K. (Camp) in Genoa, Ohio on October 14, 1978. Don was employed by Whirpool Corp. in Clyde, Ohio for the past 8 years. Don was a dedicated man that believed nothing was more important than taking care of his family. No matter what they needed, he was always there to help. He taught by example that family was truly everything. Don enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to traditional country music. Don is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Dawn, daughter, Theresa (Greg) Kritner, sons, Donnie and Josh Skaggs, grandchildren, Brenda, Summer, Leah, Shaun, Draven and Ava, great grandchildren, Luna & Lilly, sisters, Oralane (Bob) Hays, Georgetta Redrup and Judy Duseau and brother, Jack (June) Skaggs. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David, Ronnie, Eddie & Tommy Skaggs and sister, Linda Skaggs. Visitation for Don will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, October 7, 2021, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 8, 2021, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
