Donald P. Shea

Donald P. Shea, 71, a resident of the Luther Home of Mercy, Williston, OH, and formerly of Girard, OH, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in St. Charles-Mercy Hospital, Oregon, OH. Donald was born in Youngstown OH on August 19, 1937 to Martin J. and Anne Carey Shea. After high school he served in the U.S. Army and attended George Washington University. In the early 1960s Donald worked for the Burroughs Office Equipment Co. in Youngstown, OH and most recently at Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor, OH. He enjoyed reading and watching horse racing. Donald is survived by his brother, Maurice Shea of Girard, OH, nephew & nieces, Michael Shea and Kathleen Anne Shea of Spring Hill, Fl, and Dr. Laura R. Dr. Brian Mosora Shea, Meadeville, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother William and sister, Nancy Shea-Leatherman. Funeral services for Donald will be held at 1 PM, Friday, May 1, 2009 in the Luther Home of Mercy Chapel, Williston, OH. Visitation will be in the chapel from 12 pm until the time of service. Interment will be at a later date in the Resurrection Cemetery, Austintown, OH. Memorial contributions, in Donalds memory, may be made to the Luther Home of Mercy.
