Donald M. Scofield, age 79 of Perrysburg, passed away April 5, 2021 in Otterbein of Perrysburg Care Center. He was born October 20, 1941 in Toledo to Gail W. and Ann Jo (Fawcett) Scofield. A graduate of Whitmer High School he worked as a tool and die maker for Dana and the Chrysler Corporations. In his spare time he was a Lucas County Sheriff’s Deputy and a Sylvania Township police officer. He was an avid muscle car, snowmobile and boat enthusiast. Don was a generous individual who was known to support friends and family. Preceded in death by his parents and niece Stacey Webb Dieck, he is survived by his son, Kyle P. Scofield; granddaughter, Brittany Scofield Taylor; sisters, Susan Webb, Diana (Dr. Armando) Vicente and Jayne (Tod) Cook; nephews Dr. David Vicente, Brian Vicente, Esq., and Justin Krueger. He was a great-uncle to Andrew, Kennedy, Jack and Julia Vicente, Rylee, Jaxton and Makaya Krueger and Michael and Nicole Cook. Although Don did not want a service he would want each of you to spend the day living life and not grieving.
