Donald E. Sack

Donald E. Sack age 78 of Maumee, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Don was born in Toledo, OH on May 13, 1942 to Frank E. and Elizabeth S. (Chapman) Sack. Don was a 1961 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He married the love of his life, Dorothy J. Monroe on November 5, 1969. He was employed at Teledyne as a machinist and inspector since 1966 until his retirement. His memberships included UAW Local 12 and Maumee Eagles. Don enjoyed golfing, fishing; spending time with his family at the cottage in their younger years; and watching C-Span. Surviving is his loving wife, Dorothy J. Sack; daughters, Angela (Douglas) Fisher and Nicole (Phil) Cook and grand-dogger, Lola. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Sack and his canine best friend and grand-dogger, Hannah. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM. (Masks and Social Distancing Required) Interment will follow at Roth Memorial Cemetery, Monclova, OH.
