Donald V. Prond

Donald V. Prond, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away January 30, 2010, in the Perrysburg Care Rehabilitation Center, after a long battle with brain cancer. He had just celebrated his 50th birthday on January 13, 2010. He attended Calvin M. Woodward High School and worked many years in the restaurant business. Don was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jennifer and sister Donna. He is survived by his daughter, Heather David Johnson, grandson Patrick and step-grandson David, mother, Alice Prond, father, Donald Prond of California, brother, Thomas Barbara Prond, sister, Mary Terence Szych, nephews, Samuel Prond, Matthew Szych, his longtime companion, Norleen Diebert, and her two sons, Joshua and Jacob. A funeral service will be conducted at 7 PM, Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Genoa. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5-7 pm also on Tuesday.
