Donald A. Nissen

Donald A. Nissen, 86, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Otterbein-Northshore Senior Life Community, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. He was born on December 26, 1936 in Fremont, OH to Alvin and Gertrude (Heller) Nissen. Don served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1958-1964. He worked as a quality control lab tech for U.S. Gypsum for over 30 years, retiring in 1993. Don enjoyed spending time at the Danbury Senior Center and was an avid fan of Cleveland sports.

Don is survived by his brother, Kenneth Nissen and nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Don will be cremated under the direct care of the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to the Danbury Senior Center or a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
