Donald Ray Montgomery, Sr.

Donald Ray Montgomery, Sr., age 79, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. The son of Russell and Mabel, he was born February 16, 1941. Don attended Maumee High School, but earned his GED in his 30s which he was proud of. He worked for a short time with Johns Manville and began a 40 year career with Faurecia. He was at one time a member of Adams Conservation Club. He was an avid fan of watching football, Westerns and Star Trek. He is survived by his wife, Diana; children, Rusty, Andy, Cindy, James. Donald Ray, Jr.; stepchildren, Wade and Cindy; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother Robert. Services were private. Assisting with the arrangements are Walker Funeral Home 419-841-2422. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
