Donald N. Marsh

Donald N. Marsh, age 79, formerly of Sylvania, died December 8, 2015 at his home in Worthington, Ohio. He was born April 28, 1936 in Madison, WI to the late Frank A. and Evelyn B. (Irwin) Marsh. Don married Marilynn L. Guthrie on June 2, 1957 and she lovingly survives. Also surviving are his children, Brad (Lori) Marsh and Karen (Rob) Conkle; grandchildren, Troy (Ashley), Adam (Annie), Landan, Taylor (fiancé, Trevor), Lisa (fiancé, Matt), Garritt, Dakota and Chase; great grandchildren, Blaine, Jace and Ari; and sisters, Carolyn and Kathy. Don was a truck driver for more than 30 years, most recently with Nagle Toledo Truck Lines. He had previously worked in sales in the Toledo area with Worlds Finest Chocolate and Val-Pack, and as an X-Ray Technician in Akron. He was a member of Toledo First Seventh-day Adventist Church which he loved to attend. Don enjoyed reading, following the stock market, and eating at Loma Lindas Restaurant and will be remembered as an incredibly hard worker and great provider. He was strong, wise and selfless, but always expected accountability. He invested not only in the market, but in people. Don found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Friday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Toledo First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4909 Sylvania Ave., Toledo, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the ALS Association of Central Ohio, 1170 Old Henderson Road, Suite 22, Columbus, Ohio 43220 or to the church.
