Donald L. Bauerle of Port Clinton, Ohio and Yulee, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Catawba Island with family and in compassionate care of the nurses and aids of Elara Care and Hospice, Toledo. Don was born January 31, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, attended Aiken High School in Cincinnati, and the University of Cincinnati.
Don was the owner of Dayton Pneumatic Tool Co. in Dayton, OH and owns Buckeye Bend Apartments in Port Clinton. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles, and Moose. He was a lifelong lover of hunting, fishing, raising and showing quarter horses. He collected antique cars, trucks, tractors, and clocks. His favorite pastime was taking golf cart rides with his dog, Yukon.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter, Anne Etzler; granddaughter, Ashleigh Cravens; sister, Patricia Smith; and niece, Tracy Smith D’Amelio.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bette (King) Drapach; his father, John Bauerle; and brother, Jack Bauerle.
