Donald Helle, Jr.

Donald Helle Jr., 59, of Port Clinton, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, surrounded by his loving family. Don was born on February 10, 1953 in Toledo, the son of Donald A. and Violet M. Newton Helle Sr. On February 15, 1974 in Oak Harbor, he married Loyola V. Wisegiver and she survives. Don worked as a laborer for TRW Automotive for 34 1/2 years. He was a member of the Port Clinton Moose Lodge #1610, he loved bowling and gardening. Survivors include: Wife: Loyola Helle; Sons: Nathan Helle, Jeffrey Ashley Helle and Adam Helle; Daughter: Monica Helle; 4 Grandchildren: Marissa, Connor, Arabella & Harley; Brothers & Sisters: Frederick Carolyn Newton, Mary Jim Lewis, Rick Helle, Yvonne Slater and Tim Carol Helle. Don was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Terry Helle and granddaughter: Kallie. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8PM, Sunday, July 1, 2012 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Monday, July 2, 2012 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Lacarpe Cemetery, LaCarne, OH.
