Donald H. Freeborn

Donald H. Freeborn Sr., age 88, peacefully passed away Saturday, April 4, 2009, in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, Ohio. Donald was born to John and Grace Freeborn on March 11, 1921, in Toledo, Ohio. He married the love of his life, Mary Anne Cobley Freeborn on February 1, 1946; they had just celebrated 63 years of marriage. Donald was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and the University of Toledo. He served his country in WWII with an honorable discharge. Donald was the owner of Terminal Cartage Company retiring in 1975. Donalds greatest joy in life was his family, his wife, children and grandchildren. He taught us all the meaning of hard work and that family is one of the most important things in life. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne and brother, Frederick Willis. Donald is survived by his children, Donald Freeborn Jr. Becky, Scott Freeborn Carol and Nancy Peluso Rick Allen; grandchildren, Donald III, Jon and Jenny Freeborn, Justin and Ben Jaime Freeborn, Dino II, Maria, Gina, and Rachele Peluso and great-grand-children, Nathan and Sydney Freeborn. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at the Ebeid Hospice Residence for the wonderful care and support to our Father and Family Members. To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die.
