Donald A. Eicher passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021. He was born May 15, 1935 to Violet (Graham) and Robert Lee Eicher in Toledo, Ohio. He attended McKinley Grade School and Macomber High School where he served on student council. He played football and was the captain of the team. He made all city from 1951-1953 and all north team in 1953 and elected class president the same year. Don was elected to the Macomber High School Sports Hall of Fame. Don was a 32 degree Mason in Damascus-Collingwood Lodge #643 F. & A.M. and was a past Master and a 32 degree Scottish Rite. He was a member of York Rite in Fort Meigs Lodge Chapter #29 F. & A. M. , Toledo Council, Toledo Commandery, Zenobia Shrine, Zenobia Patrol where he was a past secretary, treasurer, vice president, president and served as captain general. He was also a member of Jester Court #21 and past president. On June 1, 1957, he married the love of his life Carol Lea Reichard and to this union were born son, Scott Allan (Debbie) Eicher; twin daughters, Denise Marie (Gino) Watkins and Dawn Elizabeth Greenwood who survive. Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Samuel Watkins, Nicholas Sturner, Zac, Jacob, Max Greenwood; great grandchildren, Micah Watkins, Kasen Sturner, Warrick Greenwood and two great grandsons on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert & William; sister, Violet; two Friends may visit the family on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 2-7 p.m. at Walker Funeral Homes 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) where a service will be held Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
