Donald C. Domonkos

Donald C. Domonkos, age 77, of Walbridge, passed away at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center on May 30, 2017. Don was born on September 1, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to Donald Domonkos, Sr. and Martha (Gerlach) Domonkos. Don was a Truck Driver for M & M Restaurant Supply for over 35 years and a former owner of the Time Out Tavern in Millbury. He married his beloved wife Karen on November 5, 2004 in Venice, Florida and together they enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas. Don was an avid sports fanatic cheering on many teams including Notre Dame, the Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Red Wings. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Karen; children, Rick (Linda) Domonkos, David (Karen) Domonkos, Doug Domonkos, Cindy (Scott) Penland, Kelly Domonkos, and Shelby Domonkos; sisters, Carol (Jack) Emch, Kathleen Beck, Vickie Mixter, MaryAnn Domonkos; and brother, Ron Domonkos; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and step-daughter, Diane Fisher. Don was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121).
