Donald "Daffy Duck" A. Cline

Donald A. Cline, also known as “Daffy Duck”, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away at home, Monday, January 16, 2023 at the age of 81. He was the son of Donald B. and Wilma (Boner) Cline, born in Toledo, Ohio on December 4, 1941. Don married Diane (Schwamberger) in Northwood, Ohio on July 28, 1962 and they have spent the last 61 years enjoying life.

Don was a truckdriver for over thirty years for several trucking companies. His travels have taken him to 49 of the 50 states. He was a member of the DADS group of the VFW Post 2984, in Northwood, Ohio for a number of years. He liked to tinker in his garage to pass the time, when he was not on the road.

Don is survived by his wife, Diane, children, David (Delisa) Cline, Diane (Jay) Lutes, and Debbie (Claude) Boivin, grandchildren, Janet (Anthony) Collins, Victoria (Leo) Yakin, Conan Lutes, Troy Yakin, Kawika Cline, and Spencer Lutes, and several nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Don Cline, Jr., brothers, Gene and Jimmy Cline and sister, Juanita Kovacs.

A private service for Don will be conducted later with interment in the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio. Memorials for Don may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or any of the Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home of Genoa is assisting with arrangements.
