Donald Ellis Coffey

Donald Ellis Coffey, 91, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his family on November 28, 2024. He was a devoted husband for over 67 years, and is survived by his loving wife, Lois. He also had three children: Debbie preceded him in death (and Jim Ronda), Brenda (and Denis Yurkovich), and Jeff (and Melissa). He was a grandfather to Kelly (and Kevin Gardner), Kim (and Mark Palmer), Kayla (and Bobby Parziale), Brianna, and Ty Ellis. He was also a great grandfather to Caleb, Meliah, Ryleigh, Nolan, Emma, Law, and Oak.

He served in the Army and enjoyed a long career as an Industrial Engineer. He loved spending time at Merry Lake with family and friends, and especially enjoyed captaining pontoon boat rides for everybody to have fun! After retirement he loved building doll houses and had several win awards and his haunted doll house was put on display at the Perrysburg Public Library. In his later years, he really enjoyed playing games with the family.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024  from 2-4 p.m. at Witzler-Shank- Walker Funeral Home in Perrysburg, 222 E.
