Donald K. Bilger

Donald K. Bilger age 93 of Waterville, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Donald was born in Marion, OH on January 20, 1924 to Marion and Margaret (Boyd) Bilger. He was an owner/operator truck driver for many years. Donald was a 1942 graduate of Woodward High School and served his country with the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a member of Rubicon #237 Lodge and also a member of the Valley of Toledo Scottish Rite . Donald was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Toledo. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid reader. Donald loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his sons, Donald Rusty (Mary) and Bill (Darlene); 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; step-father, William Claggett; twin brother, Don K.; sister, Gladys Miller and brother, Irving. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10am with interment to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
