Donald Barber

Donald E. Barber, 78, of Genoa died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Genoa Retirement Village following a long struggle with Parkinsons. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut on December 11, 1933. Don had graduated from Woodward High School and was a US Army Veteran. He retired as plant protection foreman at Sun Marketing and Refining in 1991. Don was a member of the Ottawa County Conservation League and past member of the New Sportsmans Club. Don is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Craig Barber and brother: Robert David Barber, Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Eva Barber and brother: Fred Barber. Cremation has taken place under the direct care of Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Genoa. .
