Donald E. Bailey

Donald “Doni” Eugene Bailey, 60, of Walbridge, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at his home. Doni was born on January 18, 1957 to Harold D. and Glenna “Louise” (Lay) Bailey in Toledo. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran and a cook at the Iron Skillet for many years. He enjoyed fishing, photography, and watching drag racing at Norwalk Speedway. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Shelia (Mike) Davis; nephew, Jimmy Davis, Brian Geiner, and Shad Davis, niece, Sarah (Rob) Dorsey; and many great nieces and nephews, longtime girlfriend, Rebekah Bauman and half siblings, Amanda Bailey and Harold Bailey, Jr. He was preceded by his parents, and sister, Margaret Geiner. Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral, 701 N. Main St, Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) where the Walbridge V.F.W. Post #9963 will conduct services at 4:30 P.M., followed by the funeral service at 5 P.M. Burial will be in the Lake Township Cemetery.
